Description
A radiator booster is a white telescopic tube that sits on top of your radiator. A small thermostatic fan draws the heat trapped behind the radiator and distributes it more evenly around the room, which could help you to reduce your thermostat setting. It does need to be plugged in within 1.8metres of the radiator.
1) Your central heating boiler will use around 15 kilowatts of energy every hour (some even more). Radiator BOOster® draws heat from your radiator, heating a room quicker, allowing the boiler to shut down sooner.
2) As your radiator gets hot, the ‘rear’ surface will normally radiate heat onto your wall. In turn, this heat can be lost through the wall structure due to conduction. Radiator BOOster® sucks some of this wasted heat away from the wall and directs it into your room, reducing losses, potentially saving you energy.
